Fertility Information Evening

Monday 13 March 2017

It's estimated that 1 in 6 Irish couples experience fertility issues. If you've been experiencing difficulties and would like some information about the options available to you, then please join us for our Fertility Information Evening.

ASSISTED FERTILITY
Robert Downer, Clinical Manager & Clinical Embryologist with Repromed Ireland, Kilkenny will discuss what you can expect from a visit to a Fertility Clinic, the process and the procedures.

FOODS FOR FERTILITY
Nutritional Therapist, Ashling Ward of The Nutrition Clinic will discuss Foods for Fertility and examine how Nutritional therapy can help to identify potential nutritional imbalances and to understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns.

COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES
Acupuncturist Bernie Fogarty of Shen Acupuncture & Naturopathy Clinic will look at how Acupuncture, as a natural and safe method, can effectively enhance both natural and assisted fertility in order to improve full term successful pregnancy outcomes.

Connie McGee of Serendipity Holistic Therapies will talk us through Fertility Massage, what it involves and how it can help.

MOVEMENT & MINDFULNESS
Pilates, GentleBirth & Mindfulness Instructor & Owner of The Baby Room, Ethna Quirke will talk about how Pilates as a movement exercise can help to optimise the body for fertility by helping with weight management, balancing insulin & blood glucose levels, reducing stress, creating body awareness and providing a sense of personal achievement.

You'll practice some gentle take home Mindfulness exercises, to help you build your emotional tool kit for the journey ahead.

Our evening will finish with a Q& A session, over refreshments, where you can mingle & chat with others, in our warm, nurturing studio.

Take home information will include handouts & contact details from the speakers on the night, as well as additional support resources and a goody bag.

*****As this is a free event, booking is not necessary. However, please do indicate your intention to attend so that we can keep track of numbers. PM, call or text Ethna on 0860569137*****
