Post Natal Mommy & Me Pilates @ The Baby Room

Pilates is a gentle, safe way to exercise after birth, strengthening your entire body, whilst paying particular attention to increasing strength and stability in the pelvis, pelvic floor and abdominal muscles.

Our Mommy & Me Postnatal Pilates classes provide you the opportunity to exercise with your baby or toddler. Babies can be placed on mats while you exercise, or can be incorporated into weighted movements, whilst older children are free to join in with stretches or to engage in free play in our play area, where you will be able to see them throughout the class.

Postnatal Pilates will not only help you to feel energised and boost self-esteem, classes also provide a social space, where you will meet other Moms, share experiences and create friendships. Mats, cushions, pilates props all in studio. Just bring yourself & your precious new baba.

All our Mommy & Me classes are Diastasis Recti friendlly, making them a safe way to exercise post pregnancy. Screening for Diastasis recti should be carried out by your health care professional post pregnancy and prior to the commencement of an exercise programme. If this hasn’t been done, please contact Ethna to arrange a pre class consultation.
