Using imagination, stories and play, our Pilates for Kids classes focus on developing agility, flexibility, coordination and balance. We integrate traditional Pilates exercises such as Seal, Rolling Like a Ball and Open Leg Rocker, with more free flowing form work on the stability ball and with other props such as spiky balls and the parachute to guarantee a really fun, action packed class.
Recent data suggests that 4 out of 5 Irish children aren’t getting the recommended 60 minutes of daily exercise. Pilates can help children gain awareness of their body, and learn how to move efficiently and gracefully. As children grow, their bodies are in a constant state of change and development. Pilates can help establish correct principles of movement that children will use for their entire lives.
